This essay examines the possibilities of writing a counter history about Anne Charlotte Leffler that does not have - like most of the previous studies and literary histories upon Leffler - the Swedish boundaries or the Swedish language as its model. That is to say that this essay, in opposition to most of the hitherto writings on Anne Charlotte Leffler, values the international reception as high as the Swedish reception. It does so by undertaking a case study based on the German review Deutsche Rundschau, which published six short stories by and three articles about Anne Charlotte Leffler between 1884 and 1894. The short stories and the articles in Deutsche Rundschau are compared with two other documents of reception that contribute to the understanding of the German reception of Leffler. The examination shows that the focus on the international reception can contribute to illuminate aspects of Anne Charlotte Lefflers authorship that previously have been disregarded.

The purpose of this paper is to examine how the two Swedish cross-country skiers, Charlotte Kalla and Marcus Hellner are portrayed in the tabloids Aftonbladet and Expressen. The study is based on theories of sports journalism, media- and gender studies. Within these theories there are beliefs that men and women are portrayed differently in sports journalism. Sports journalism is described as a subject where there is a hierarchy in which the man is often framed as dominant in relationship to the woman.This study was made in an attempt to examine whether this was the case in the Swedish tabloid magazines Aftonbladet and Expressens coverage of the winter Olympics. Articles published about Charlotte Kalla and Marcus Hellner in the 2010 Vancouver Olympics, and the Olympic Games in Sochi in 2014 were analyzed by a quantitative content analysis.

The content of this essay is the critical treatment of ritual research in Uppåkra during the Iron Age in relation to Charlotte Fabechs research.From what has been concluded for Uppåkra a condensed chart of Uppåkra's rituals is produced. This chart is compared with what Fabech has put forward for Southern Scandinavia. Fabech's categories and theory have been widely used by the researchers of Uppåkra, and this is critically examined.The most important conclusion is that the similarities between the Uppåkra research and Fabech picture are not great. This source critical point indicates that the massive use of her research in order to explain the rituals in Uppåkra can have been misdirected. The report aims to show how outdoor environments have been shaped with the purpose of experiencing them from the inside of buildings, through an overview perspective. Two Danish gardens are used as examples. One is the Baroque garden in the garden of Frederiksborg castle in Hillerød. The Baroque garden is thus a part of a larger garden. The second garden is the Charlotte Garden, a relatively newly constructed garden within a housing complex in Østerbro in Copenhagen. Both gardens are analyzed on the basis of visual expression and structure. In the report, it is also discussed how the contemporary society have evoked the different ways of shaping the gardens.

This thesis highlights starting points underlying the notions of two feminist utopians, Christine de Pizan and Charlotte Perkins Gilman. In approaching their texts, it focuses on the notions central to understand their writings. These would be historical, social, and cultural contexts. Defining concepts as utopian in its varying forms and feminism has been of significance. A feministic approach grounded in Simone de Beauvoirs philosophical phenomenology in the study of feministic utopia's visibility, has contributed to the understanding of the power structures to which women are tethered. In order to understand the way women are presented, it has become obvious that The Book of the City of Ladies and Herland are literary works that are related not only by their authors? background and personality but by the society in which they lived. Through their engagement in the contemporary intellectual debate on all social planes, both authors contributed to shifting the focus of their own contemporary notions of a woman to the notion of a woman equal to men. Woman, in Christine de Pizans utopia, is given specific properties and through themes of issues given meaning. She is not free in the sense that Simone de Beauvoir says.  She has a broader repertoire than was historically assigned, but her freedom is not arbitrary, contingent, and temporary and judged by her actions.

My essay is about the latter period of Anne Charlotte Leffler?s authorship. In Part I of my essay, I describe her path from the 1880s, where she described femininity as a shortcoming, as writes Ingeborg Nordin-Hennel, towards the 1890s and towards describing femininity as a possibility. This development took place on two levels ? on an outer level, where all the woman writers in the late 1880s were influenced and where they were pushed out by the male writers, and on an inner level with Leffler herself.Her late literary works depict new and more independent types of women, and eroticism is given a more prominent position.

Syftet med detta examensarbete är att studera sambanden mellan olika samtalsroller och samtalsdominans. Vi observerade ett arbetslagsmöte på en grundskola samt intervjuade två av lärarna som ingick i arbetslaget. Med hjälp av Dueks taxanomi över samtalsroller och Linells och Adelswärds teorier om samtalsdominans har vi sett tendenser på att det finns ett samband mellan olika samtalsroller och kvantitativ och innehållslig samtalsdominans.Resultaten visar att arbetslagsmedlemmarna sammanlagt uppfyllde sju av tretton samtalsroller samt att några av lärarna skiftade mellan olika samtalsroller under mötets gång. De samtalsroller som uppfylldes var urspårare, underlättare, framryckare, debattör, tillbakadragare, överpratare och underpratare. Resultaten visar även att den läraren som har den högsta kvantitativa samtalsdominansen inte har den högsta innehållsliga samtalsdominansen.

Mitt examensarbete behandlar frågeställningen: Hur gestaltar iscensatta och approprierade självporträtt identitet och kön/genus och vad får det för konsekvenser för hur vi betraktar oss själva och andra människor? Jag vill med min undersökning försöka problematisera och vidga sätten att använda självporträtt på som uppgift i skolan. Att visa upp hur samtida konstnärer jobbar med självporträtt, tror jag kan skapa en mer dynamisk bild av vad ett självporträtt är och kan vara för eleverna. Att göra ett självporträtt betyder inte att man måste visa sitt ?riktiga jag?.

The aim of this study is to investigate how the female author, Charlotte Brontë, describes the development of her female protagonist in Jane Eyre and to compare this to how the male author, Fyodor Dostoevsky, describes the development of his male protagonist in Crime and Punishment, inside the patriarchal 19th century.My basic idea is that both characters in these two books have to reach their own unknown to find satisfaction and a new existence, and I want to investigate what the characters have to go through to find that existence. To help me in my exploration of Jane Eyre I make use of Gilbert and Gubars? book The Madwoman in the Attic and in the case of Crime and Punishment, I make use of Pelikan Straus? article ??Why did I say ?Women!??? Raskolnikov Reimagined?. Both authors discuss literature from a gender perspective, but without comparing female and male characters or authors with each other, which I believe is important for a more holistic understanding of gender issue.The conclusion of this essay is that these books are describing the main characters? evolution towards their personal unknown with the same tools, a double self, an important symbol, and in the end a love partner that embodies that unknown.

Det är idag fullt möjligt att göra filmer utan skådespelare som fysiska aktörer på filmduken.
